Hi All,
I am looking for a list of Cisco recommended SFTP servers to run on Windows Server 2008. I have referd to the Cisco Unified Communications Operating System Administration Guide, Release 9.1(1) in which it states the following:
Cisco allows you to use any SFTP server product but recommends SFTP products that have been certified with Cisco through the Cisco Technology Developer Partner program (CTDP). CTDP partners, such as GlobalSCAPE, certify their products with specified versions of Cisco Unified Communications Manager. For information on which vendors have certified their products with your version of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, refer to the following URL:http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/ctdp/Search.pl
But the link does not not go anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

There is a free version of COPSSH : https://www.itefix.no/i2/content/compare-copssh
But I do like that people object to spending less than the cost of a single phone power supply on software to store their critical system backups :-)

Hi Ronak,
I believe Open SSH only works in Linux, CYgwin is that an SFTP server ? and looked up titan and Titan-Professional Edition is $599.95.
What I am looking for is a list of SFTP servers supported by Cisco that I can give a price list to my customer. I am currently implementing their IPT solution and require a Cisco/TAC recommended SFTP solution.
Thank you

Hi,
Globalscape, Cygwin, Open SSH and Titan and supported by Cisco. There are other stfp servers like Coreftp, freeftpd etc which work, but if you run into any issues with DRS and you contact TAC, if there is a slight hint of a problem with sftp server then you will be asked to use one of the supported sftp servers as BU will work only on the tested / supported sftp servers.

Thanks!

Hi Paul,
I would recommend you FreeFTPd. As the name said is FREE. I think this is the most recomended SFTP by CISCO TAC.

Hi
I use FreeFTPD a lot, though it's not 'recommended' by Cisco.. there are some file size limitations but I rarely hit them.
Recently I tried the free COPSSH (https://www.itefix.no/i2/copss) - not so easy to use but seems to work OK.

Hi Paul,
The only product I could find "certified" in the Cisco Technology
Developer Program was Globalscape. The last tested version of
CUCM was 8.6

Cheers!

COPSSH cost US$35, wow, I will assume the risk working with FreeFTPd .
