was going through the document for Social Miner API 10.6

Is it possible to customize the look and feel for the customers, by using the API described for the Chat Feed (Chapter
Or is the look and feel for the customer fixed with a form when using Social Miner with CCx ?
Anyone looked into this matter ?
We have so many companies that want to have flexibility in how, the interaction should work with design and more things, so the API seem to be perfect for that scenario - given they work for my scenario.

There are two options are available to customize the look and feel of Customer chat UI.
• If customer wants to use the default Customer Chat UI (from SocialMiner) which is visible after entering the details in chat form (generated by UCCX) . You will able to customize it to some extent like welcome message, logo etc. beyond that customization is not possible.
o Please refer List Chat Web Forms section of 10.6(1) UCCX Administrator Guide

• If you do not want to use the default Customer Chat UI he can develop his own Chat UI from scratch using chat feed APIS provided by SocialMiner.

have you looked at the chat templates? You are able to configure the content.

I'm more thinking about using the API to customise, since customers really want to control everything in terms of look and feel - the templates are kind of limiting - but please correct me if i'm wrong here
