When I try to add a new code, at Global? - I want to set it as No, but there is no option to do so. If I want it to be used just by one Team, I believe Global should be No. Then in Team Resources, assign the new code to the Team, But since I can't make Gobal = No, I'm not seeing it as a code I can add. I tried a different browser, same. Also when I attempt to look at Phone Books - the data never loads, just a spinning item appears within Manage Phone Books. Maybe something in CCX that needs to be reset? The usual Finesse access is fine for Team status, call queues and Advanced Capabilities to view Calendars.

You could restart the "Cisco Finesse Tomcat" service. This will reload the tomcat server thats running finesse. Hope that helps...
Thanks, Thomas G. J.

Unfortunately no - when I added it or try to edit it (or any code) it appears like this:
No checkbox next to 'Global?'

System version: 12.5.1.11003-511. Everything is IN SERVICE, which is unexpected. That includes Cisco Finesse Tomcat. I thought some would be PARTIAL. I added a reason code and modified phone books a while back.
Maybe a service needs to be restarted? We have someone here that may have to do that in CUCM due to adding a new Cisco phone model, a DUP or .cop file a believe.

Ok thanks. I'll ask my co-worker who's adding the .cop file for the new phones if the servers need to be restarted for that to take effect. I think he said they will need to be because he was going to do it off hours. I assume that would effectively restart the Tomcat service, correct?

COP file for new phones sounds like it would be related to CM. Restarting that would not affect CCX.

Absolutely - I should have thought of that.

After the Finesse Tomcat service was restarted I was able to adjust the Global setting. I could then access the Phone Books as well.
Thanks for the replies. Now if I could get the transmit from Jabber working on my new laptop, that would be great.
