Urgent*Forced Authorization Codes Fails using VG224 with SCCP

Hello Everyone,

Please I would ask you help to resolve an issue with the Analog VG224.

I`m implementing IPT in a site witch uses FAC codes to dial out.

Using it with IP phones witch are 20% of the overall phones,it works fine, however when trying to dial out using the analog extension of the VG224, the system does not ask for the FAC and the call fails.

Removing de FAC from the route it completes the call normally.

Does anyone has a clue why the analog is not receiving the beep to insert the code and call is failling?

I seem to be running into the same issue, my understanding is that forced authorization codes are supported with SCCP, though they do not seem to work, IOS 15.1.4M6.

FAC for Analog phones behind VG gateway can be supported using a 3rd party application.

Users experiance:

• User dials the outbound number
• 3rd party application is invoked(IVR) and user is prompted to enter his FAC code
• FAC code is authenticated
• Call gets dialed out

One of our customers had SIP phones and faced the same issue of support for FAC.We solved the issue using a 3rd party application.

I was going through the post, we are under same problem that FAC is not working with VG350, although it was working earlier.

You mentioned that it works with third party application, can you please let me know which Third party application assist to make FAC work with Cisco CUCM.

I had the same issue and tried to dial the FAC + #  after dialing the destination number and it works, the problem is just that it never plays the beep asking for the code.
