Where can I find list of SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml files in CUCM?

Hi

Where can i find list of SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml files in CUCM.

I have tried tftp <CUCMIP> get SEP<MAC>.cnf.xml in CMD. but this gives only the output of that MAC address.

Paolo,

Ah, ok. In that case, you cannot get the list of the files since starting CUCM 5.x, they are not stored on the HDD. They are present on RAM and can only be fetched one by one using TFTP or HTTP.

Hope that helps.

I was able to list our lab devices on 7.1 using a browser, http not https,  on port 6970:

http://172.28.22.10:6970/ConfigFileCacheList.txt

It only worked with firefox though, and no idea if this carries forward or backwards..

Beside obtaining system internal lists, what practical problem are you trying to solve ?

Hi Paolo, the issue is few of the IP phones is not listing the directory option in the menu. this is happeing only for newly registred phones and to the IP communicator which is registered via VPN.

its looks like the phones are getting regisred with default.XML files.  Hence i would like to check the SEP.cnf.xml file is avalaible in the DB.

Jagpreet , thank for you input.

Solution : i have restarted the TFTP services from the CUCM and now the issue has resolved.

Sigeesh,

Your phones are not seeing corporate directory option? Or no directory
(Placed calls, missed...)

Are the phones on current firmware (match device default setting ) or on older version and not upgrading?

Try to delete ITL/ctl as a start. Might be sbd related issue on the phones.

Hi Siqeesh,

     Please run : tftp -i get SEP.cnf.xml

In case TFTP is not allowed on your windows PC, you can turn it on from the Control pannel under Turns Windows features on or off.

Jagpreet

Maybe read above again:

OP is looking for a list, not a single file.
