Looks like this is fixed in 11.8.3. These issues are very frustrating to say the least. I think Cisco can definitely improve on their quality control when it comes to their UC client applications. It makes me wonder if they even test the software ...

I fixed my issue by adding the correct FQDN under the "X.509 Subject Name" field in the SIP Trunk Security Profile used by the ad-hoc SIP trunk.
Great tool and I like the new UI! The default value for EnableAccessoriesManager should be true, but the config default is set to false. Excerpt from Jabber 11 Install and Deployment Guide.
