Since cdp is not enabled on ASA devices, how can these devices be discovered from CiscoWorks.

LMS 2.6 use CDP to discover devices. I have few switches seen as cdp neighbor on Devicecenter on one of my core switch. however all these switch are never detected by device discovery and not added on DCR.what's the probable cause?
