Hello:I was just wondering if there is any way to get a Cisco router's serial number from the IOS or config. I am mostly dealing with 2500's from 1999-2000. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

In Rommon Mode I am unable to use "tftpdnld". It says "Command not Supported" although I can use xmodem but as the IOS is of 17 MB it also gets hang.

I have CiscoWorks VMS setup to auto download new IDS signature files, this works great, however is there a way I can have those signatures automatically installed to my sensors?

Apparently RME3.5 uses Telnet to execute SWIM (Software Image management). It is not clear why this is needed.Is it possible to define to use SSH instead or to disbale Telnet?I know RME 4.0 provides the SSH option.rgds, Geert Folens.
