We are trying to deploy our VSMs in L3 mode in Vmware land on UCS hardware. I am strugling to get the secondary VSM setup correctly and wondered if anyone has managed this? At the moment when I deploy the second VSM is appears blissfully unaware of the primary and visa-versa.
I am deploying it via the deploy ovf template wizard and selecting the Nexus 1000V secondary configuration option, selecting the correct vlan for all 3 vlans in the wizard, adding the same damain ID as the primary, adding the admin password and firing it up.
My primary VSM is using the mgnt0 int for its control and I am wondering whether in L3 mode I need to put on the management IP when I run the wizard?
