Migration to UCS - Proper way to build a dev environment
We are migrating from MCS to UCS. I'd like to start the UCS restores and point the VMs to a NIC in the development network which has no production access. I need to maintain the same IP address to allow the restores to run. What is the best way to start this migration? I am thinking of shutting down the production servers 1 at a time, doing the restore, re-pointing to the development network, and then putting production back online.
