Ping between 2 IOS routers on a shared L2 VLAN will not exceed 1500B
I have 2 c3750Es running routing sharing a common vlan [vlan71]. Connected trunk interface set to MTU 9000. When I ping from one to another using extended ping; size 1501; source IP and df-bit set it times out [but 1500 works]. What am I missing?
