I am tasked with connecting a 2901 to an old satellite phone system. I have the connection terminating on an FXO port. I am able to dial out via the satellite phone system, the phone (bottom on display) indicates it's "ringing" and then "connected". Once the status changes to "connected", I have to hit the "#" pound key and the call is connected.
Is there any way to automatically send that pound key once connected? Or, is there something else I am doing wrong?
When I hook a butt-set up directly to the satellite phone system, when I dial a number and hit pound at the end, it connects. If I don't hit the pound the call never connects.
