UCCX - Getting a return value from Salesforce.com

I am working on a contact center whose callers can pay a premium to have expedited service when calling into the contact center.   Paying customers have a premium account code that is entered into their Salesforce,com profile.   The customer would like to have callers enter their account code into UCCX, have UCCX send this to Salesforce and if the customer's account is flagged as being a premium account have Salesforce send back a yes/no response.  A yes response will give the call priority and sent to the beginning of the queue.

Setting up the caller input and setting the call priority can be accomplished but I wanted to see if anyone has experience with sending and receiving information from Salesforce or if this is possible.  One thought would be to have a local database that UCCX could access but then again can this be updated from Salesforce.
